Having a bad day - need to resist a binge urge

I dunno whether it's coz I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps today or what, but it's taking everything I have to not just go and dive in the kitchen cupboards and eat every single bit of stodgy food we have in. I'd go the gym but I don't have an change on me to pay so I'm snookered.

Anyone else ever feel like this?

Definitely get like this. I try and eat comes fruit with a mullerlight ... either strawberries or melon and as a 'naughty' a mini packet of cadburys choc buttons (low syn, 4 syns)!

Stick with it. Keep posting on here and avoid the kitchen! lol

Lots of low cal/fat snacks. Fruit, mullers, low cals crisps like french fries, seafood sticks, pickled onions.

You'll feel better and proud you resisted!

Thank you girls!! Do syns count as being "low" even if you aren't doing SW? Or is that a stupid question??

I can resist.....doesn't help that we're absolutely brassic this week coz of car trouble (just had to pay £400 out on the car for failed MOT ) so haven't had a proper weekly shop yet, so haven't got any healthy snacks in. I have to remember that it won't make me feel better, I'll just end up hating myself lol!

Maybe I should just have a very large glass of water, fill me up a bit.

I calorie count and just changed them from syns to calories when I swapped over. Kept old habits. x

I see. Choccy buttons are a good little treat though, especially those small bags...exactly what I could eat right now lol!

I've just had a chocolate biscuit and fighting the urge to have another. I'm starving and my shopping isn't arriving until 7-8pm!!

1 syn would roughly be the equivalent of 20cals. So if you get 15 syns, you roughly have 300cals to be naughty with, but the rest should be very very healthy

Thats why I add them into a mullerlight and sweet strawberries Satisfies me most times without the buttons now!
