Potato substitutes

Lately I've had a terrible craving for potatoes. Something about a baked potato is seriously tempting me right now. I've considered mashing cauliflower, but I don't know if it would work. Anyone...

Getting back on the horse

I did my dreaded weigh-in today, and the holidays hit me harder than I thought! Instead of losing the extra ten pounds I figured I'd probably gain, it's fifteen. I am quite troubled by this. It's...

I've experimented with making them in a blender, and that seems to help cut down on the chalkiness. I've contemplated making it with soy milk instead to see if that helps the consistency a little....

I looked around, and there are a lot of different types I was unaware of. There are crystal noodles made from bean sprout starch that look like a very viable option for me. I found an interesting...

Wonderful suggestions. I think I might need to look into more cauliflower recipes. We eat a lot of broccoli, but it tends to not agree with my stomach. If cauliflower is a little more mild, it might...

Slim Fast

Anyone a fan of this? I've tried to get into using meal replacement shakes, but the most they seem to do is take the edge off. Slim Fast is the best one I've found so far. The only problem I have...
