Went a bit crazy!

Well today was my mums birthday meal, which my sister cooked. Started with good intensions then cracked the moment I sat down at the table-
Stuffed mushroom to start (didn't eat the bacon it was wrapped in but ate the cheesey filling)
Duck lasagna, garlic bread & salad (didn't really enjoy it but pretty much ate the lot!)
Dessert was a small slither of lemon tart & I inhaled that in seconds.
All topped of with a small glass of white wine.
I feel so guilty now god knows how many syns I ate away, dredding weigh in now on Wednesday, thank god I'd ate the minimum syns the previous 3 days and will be doing the same until weigh in.
Anyway vent over lol
Xxx

It can be so hard to stay on track at social occasions where everyone else is eating all the nice things. It happens to us all!
You still have time to pull it back before weigh in though. Just write it off and start again. Today is a new day

After the social occasions, we should have a special diet plan

Ooh.. the mushrooms sound delicious. I think everything in moderation is fine if you only eat this way once in a great while. Did you "beef" up your workout on the day you ate poorly?

Exactly like Bevziibubble said, you can't be too hard on yourself. I'm sure your mom was pleased with her celebration and that you also seemed to enjoy yourself too. Sometimes it is the little things like that that really matter. You've picked yourself up and got back on your plan again and that is to be congratulated. We all fall off the wagon.

Great thoughts, Twyla. Sometimes you can't get around it, and giving yourself room to enjoy can be a good thing. Christmas always tends to be difficult, but I think you've managed very well. I had a great deal of trouble myself at family gatherings. It's hard when what's on your plate doesn't match what you usually eat.

That all sounds so delicious, I think that anyone would have a hard time resisting temptation. I feel that once in a while it is alright to splurge on food, just as long as it isn't an everyday or every meal thing. Just get back on track and I am sure you will do fine at your weigh-in.
