Who exercises, who doesn't?

Lets be honest... if you do exercise, what exactly do you do?

I have to say I don't exercise as such. I won't go to the gym cos I don't want everyone staring at me but yet I have an Xbox & Kinect at home, use of a treadmill and lots of exercise dvd's which I don't do. I just go out for a walk everyday with my mum around the park.

I've previously done C25K and got to week 4 but the scales never moved in all that time so I gave up. Same goes for shred, made it to day 9/10 and the scales went up 1lb so I gave that up too! Think i'm going to lose another 7-14lb then start exercising properly. Hate to see the scales go up

I exercise six days a week, but I can totally relate to what you're saying. I feel like I work my butt off and still, some weeks, the scale goes up. When I see that, I can just feel the motivation draining from me, but lately I've been fighting that and continuing on.

I exercise in fits and starts, which is apparently worse for your body than not doing anything I've started 30ds god knows how many times, same for c25k! And I started the insanity work out, but got ill and stopped!

ATM I'm back on the shred, but have just done a pilates/ballet work out cos the apprentice is on!

Also, I always gain in the first week of the shred and from what I've read, most people do! But it does come off and if you do measurements, they'll be going down even if your weights going up! Measurements and photos are key to the shred IMO!

I have started doing 50 minute of walking a day again. I need to get back into doing the kettlebell workouts though. And maybe the exercise bike too!

I used to belong to a gym and hated every moment of it. I no longer do any exercise apart from walking and gardening and I do feel a little bit as though I should but hey, life's too short to do stuff that you don't like!

I started exercising about two years ago (full force) after I came close to 200lbs and barely under 6', but I was out of commission for a while when I was sick. I started out with an older machine that was chucked and replaced with a standstill recumbent bike. After that I got a mountain bike for when the weather is nice. I lift three times a week and my husband swears I am a squat queen.
