How many lbs a week do you plan to lose?

When I first started out I'd lose 4lb ish s week, which slowed to 1-2 a week with many a plateau! My most recent losses were 1lb every 2-3 weeks, it took a really long time to get to it though!

Uh plateaus were a nightmare, I nearly fell off the whole dieting because of one but glad I got out of it in the end and it felt good.

I'd like to lose about a pound a week, but I'm not setting a weekly weight loss goal every week this year. Instead, I'm setting fitness and diet goals every week and letting the weight loss happen as a result of my meeting the fitness and diet goals. This week, for example, my fitness goal is simply to do some type of workout everyday. My diet goal is to only eat when I'm truly hungry -- not as a result of anxiety, boredom, etc. Every week, my goals will build on themselves so that over time, my eating and exercise habits become better and better.

I have my calorie goals set for a weight loss of 1 pound per week, but I sure don't mind losing more than that! If I am able to keep up 1 pound a week lost, I'll be 52 pounds lighter by this time next year.
I would not have looked at it like this, thank you

Manda that's such a good idea to have weekly fitness and diet goals rather than weight loss ones! I can see how that would be so much more motivating and easier to stick to!
