A long weekend away but another not so bad ending?!
I don't regret a few sweets and a little ice cream when on holidays but I ate a lot of bread which is my biggest regret and crisps I don't really eat any more but found myself munching on while having a few holiday drinks each night. To my surprise with the upped carbs over a long weekend I have only gained 2lb on the scales
Will this bite me in the backside tomorrow instead?
Friday:
Protein shake
Few sweets in car
Ham sandwich in car
Sausages in rolls
Crisps
Alcohol
Saturday:
Porridge
Chicken Bacon club sandwich & chips
Small tub honey comb icecream
Burger and bun
Alcohol
Crisps
Sunday:
Cooked late breakfast
Burger and bun
Alcohol
Chicken drummers
Seabrook crisps
Monday:
Ham & cheese ciabatta
Chips
Apple crumble & custard
2lbs sounds like they could be gone with plenty of water. That's really good. I've read some people need a boost of carbs sometimes if low carb?
Belle xx
I was back down another 1lb this morning and with AF here too that is definitely not bad. Been feeling for a while now that I need more carbs, maybe that is why.
Perhaps a change of pace for your body is a good thing every now and then = kick-start the metabolism! Well done on the subsequent loss
Sometimes a nice weekend away is just what we need!
I find that if I use most of my daily syns and eat plenty of carbs, I lose more. Speed days do nothing for me at all so I know there's no use in starving myself. I think there needs to be a balance of protein, carbs and veg rather than cutting anything out.
Well done on your loss Wobbles x
Yer certainly give the metabolism a shake. Very low carb usually so all good. I've stuck at that weight up to now during AF which I am absolutely fine with.
I don't cut carbs out I cut down grains and wheat/gluten, I don't not have them but it's in moderation ... too much makes me bloated. I fill up on proteins and good carbs.... and vodka on weekends
