Which is your Achilles heel? For some people it is one over the other, but I struggle with both, at totally different times of the month. Sometimes I can eat really well and not crave either and then it just hits me BAM!!!! I need _____. And it's funny, I never crave them both at the same time. This week it's salt, so I pick what I am going to salt (I usually don't use much at all) and I go crazy. Then I'm fine again. Same with sweet stuff. I give in (and try not to go too nuts) and the craving usually goes away.

It would be salt for me. I love savoury foods way more than sweet foods and always crave things like crisps.
I don't crave sugar and salt at the same time either. Maybe it's because they're both such different tastes that it would be hard to find a food high in sugar and salt, so the body just craves one at a time maybe.

Salt for me too. I love salty potato chips. I could skip sugary foods, I'm not much of a dessert fan. I crave salt all the time. I love peanuts, pretzels, chips and crackers.

Lately I have really liked spicy stuff which is brand new to me because I have always avoided it. Last night we had a chicken dinner that was considered "barbeque" well it turns out my husband hated it and ate about six bites before going to make him something else. Most of the time I would say salt but I bounce between salt and sweet a good bit too.

Both. I'm actually terrible for salt on food time of month definitely makes me want sweet things.

Right?? It does totally depend on where I am in my cycle. I wish that I could figure out the rhythm behind it. But it feels like I am going to DIE at that time of the month if I am craving something salty. And sometimes it's carbs and grease also, I wonder what that is? I know that it is 99% period related.
