Healthy foods in an unhealthy way!

I have to really get myself out of a bad habit! My husband and I have both lost a fair bit of weight and are more or less maintaining now. So we are used to eating a lot of salad and veggies and healthy foods. The problem is that lately, we have been buying "luxury" dressings and splurging on "normal" cheese instead of the low fat kind. Looking back on the last few weeks, I'm getting nervous that we are sliding back into our old habits! Heeeeelllllp!

I found the more weight I lost the more I struggled to get the lbs off. At one point changing my dinner menu up a bit and jogging my calories slightly took me out of weight loss plateau.

I am a little more relaxed now on what I buy but certain habits have stayed like lighter cheese, 2% milk, not upping my carbs etc if it's just cheese and dressing as long as it's in moderation then I can't see this setting you back. Read labels in dressing for added sugar etc remember where you've got to and remember it's not just a diet it's lifestyle changes

I've been having a problem with desk munching this week. I've kept my water intake up, but thing is, I'm eating the bread my boyfriend makes his sandwiches with because I've been at home long hours.
Right now I'm desk-munching a carrot. Definitely trying to take a stand here.

Oh no! There is no sense in trying to eat healthy if you are eating unhealthy things on top of it. Eating healthy is a lifestyle change.

How about taking pictures of your when you were heavier and placing them on the mirrors in your home. This should help you control what you eat.

Ooooh, Aboutme, that's a great idea! I think now that we have lost most of our weight, we feel like we have the luxury of eating whatever we want. Overall we make good choices, but I can see that maybe we are slipping backwards and I don't want to do that! I'll do the picture idea, thanks!

I like this! I was thinking heavy-me-pics right on the fridge to control in-between meals. I do great on meals, it's when I'm not eating I snack, if that makes sense haha.
