Food advertisements on television

It never fails! I'll be watching television in the evening and then a food advertisement will come on and set me off. Then I start feeling hungry and wondering what is in the kitchen that I can snack on. It's mind control, I tell you! Stupid commercials!
I tend to record everything so I skip through the commercials. I am not saying that is for everyone but it works for me. So far so good. Maybe you could invest in a recorder?
I never get to watch things on time so I miss many of them too
I keep a few pretzels handy when I'm overtaken by those commercials. They make everything look so good. The pretzels seem to do the trick and I don't feel guilty.
I don't think we have that many food commercials in the uk? Or maybe it's just that we usually have kids tv on here
I tend to just ignore adverts - I think I take after my grandad who used to mute the tv as soon as the ads came on
This was an issue for me as a kid, because I used to watch way too much TV. Now as an adult I don't even watch TV except for Netflix, which thankfully is commercial-free.
Problem solved, ha!

This is why part of the reason why I do not watch television unless I am in social situations. Stick to movies on the web, Netflix and DVDs or even video games for entertainment.
I hate the mcdonalds and Burger King adverts. They always want me to eat junk food!
