Soon there will be an explosion of autumn color around here. That's if the rain we keep getting doesn't knock all the leaves from the trees first.

Oh wow it's so pretty where you are! Most of the leaves are already down here! I love seeing them all on the ground, although I know I really need to sweep my drive now! All the kids love it coming out of school cos there's a conker tree on the way home! Although I did have to stop my 3 year old clbing it yesterday

I love the autumn colors, especially on photographs. This is the only time of the year when I actually take photographs of nature. I also enjoy raking the leaves away; it's like a mini-workout at times.

The yellow tree is a sugar maple (where maple syrup comes from) and the other is a red maple. Those are usually the first to change colors here. It has only just begun. By the end of October the colors should be in full swing!

It's starting to look a bit like autumn here now but it's still too hot!

It is just awful here today. The humidity is high and it's warm. You walk outside and it's like breathing underwater. What strange weather we are having. Hot and then cold and then hot again. Yuck!

It's weird here, on day I've got my winter jumper on and the next it's t shirt weather!
