Is anyone planning on attending any parties or wearing a costume? One of my friends usually goes all out every year with a costume party at her home. She told me to expect an invitation soon!

I have no idea what to wear. Something spooky, for sure. Maybe a zombie.

I love Halloween. I haven't heard anything about any parties yet. Last year we went to a local tavern that was having a costume contest and that was fun. I haven't put much thought into this year so far.

I probably won't be doing anything as I've not heard of any parties. I'll probably give sweets out

I have many old costumes stored up in my closet. I usually only decide what to wear a day or two before Halloween. I'll probably only walk up the block with the dog, just to see what others will be wearing.

Halloween isn't really very big here, our local pub always does fancy dress, but generally it's all low key! We've not had trick or treaters the last 2 years! I don't really like Halloween tbh so I'm enjoying not having to dress the kids up yet cos I don't think they even know what it is!

The last 3-4 years we bought candy to hand out, turned on the porch light, and no one came. It is a sign of the times. People will take their kids to parties or only to the doors of people they know. I can't really blame them.

We sometimes get visitors but it really depends on the year. One time I remember us having to actually sit at the door for two hours straight because we had that much traffic. Last year maybe three people showed up.

The only part of Halloween that I like is carving out a pumpkin. I haven't spotted any great looking pumpkins this year, and that's what gets me into the mood. If I do get a good one, I'll probably give it to my youngest to carve because she is very artistic and creative. I'll buy some candy just in case I get the odd trick-or-treater.
