She's planning to move out
I had a very interesting phone conversation with my four year old niece last night. She called me because she had two very important things to tell me. The first is that she'd just lost her first milk tooth while brushing her teeth. She was very excited, but a bit upset because the tooth fairy won't be able to get it from the drain. I calmed her down and reassured her that she still had many teeth for the tooth fairy.
The second reason she called me still has me in shock. She announced that, since she is a big girl now (turning five in November and losing baby teeth), she wants to move out of home when she turns twenty-one! Apparently, that will be very soon, but she won't move in with Tin-tin (my nephew) because he is her brother. She will be moving in with Ted!
This little girl isn't even five yet, but she has her future well planned out!
I found out from my sister that Ted is a little seven year old boy she met at a party last year! She only saw he once, but he really made an impression.
Kids are funny like that. One day mine will come home from school and tell me they want to be this when they grow up, a week later it is something new. Just last week my youngest (the girl) said she can not wait until she is an adult so she can go get married and have a baby girl in her tummy.
Oh my goodness! I look forward to having my own little ones. They seem to have some really funny thoughts. It's funny how they all can't wait to grow up.
It makes you wonder where kids get their ideas.
They come up with the craziest notions. Such innocent imaginations they have. Sometimes they just leave a person speechless.
Awwww how cute lol!
They grow up so fast. I don't remember it being that way when I was little. It seemed like I was never going to be old enough to be allowed to do anything. Now... time is going too fast!
I wanted to be five forever! I couldn't imagine a time when I'd be too big to be carried to bed. I loved being carried to bed after pretending to fall asleep on the couch. Moving out and getting married or having babies never crossed my mind until it happened.
bless her! My oldest turns 5 next month too and regularly asks for a chat so she can discuss who she's going to get married to! She gets all angsty over it and I have to remind her I'm still not married yet so she has plenty of time!
Aww kids are so cute, bless her!
