Haha Catmad! Buckwheat is actually a fruit I believe, it contains no gluten, and can be found in the healthfood aisle. As long as you use the whole grains (and not ground into flour) its free! I sautéed an onion, cooked the buckwheat in chicken stock til all dente, added sage and combined it all. Put it in the chicken cavity or bake in a dish. The grains stay separate but it was lovely, and you can flavour it with virtually anything
The sauce I made by sauteing onion, garlic and mushrooms, adding a bit of wine (synned)for flavour, some cornflour (synned) and some chicken stock and let it simmer away. Add yogurt or quark just before you serve for creaminess.
My cooking is not an exact science, I just try things and hope for the best! Most of my recipes i find on Google Xx

No way? A fruit? Wow - I'll google translate it into Bulgarian and then spend my usual three hours wandering up and down aisles looking for it. That stuffing sounds yummy. I hope I find it. Does it look like lentils?

I'm not having much luck with my 0% yoghurt - tried to make the exact same sauce for my mushrooms and it curdled, even though I took it off the heat. My 0.5 syns cake tasted curdled. At least my tzatziki was lovely! x

Ooh Ernie - must look up carbonara. Love it. I don't know what's wrong with me but whatever anyone else is eating I want it! Somebody please post something about cauliflower - yuk, Devil's Food, yuk - then I might get off my bum and put the chickens to bed! x

Catmad, you should be able to get the things for carbonara it's just mushrooms and bacon and loads of garlic fried off and boil some pasta at the same time, then turn the heat off when the mushroom/bacon is cooked, drain the pasta but save some of the water it was boiled in - about half a cup or a bit more and mix everything together and then beat an egg in a cup and tip it in to the pan and mix it really quickly so the egg doesn't scramble. I use my hexa for cheese to put over the top but you could syn it or go without

Thanks Ernie - got everything (we use a ham and fry it and it sort of resembles bacon lol!) so I'm having that tomorrow night. Green day today so it's chips, rice n curry sauce tonight - can't wait! Curry sauce is the mushy pea curry blended smooth - love it! x
