The teenagers doing it peeve me off and ruins it for the LOs I think.

Carol singers I don't like.

We ended up not going ... the girls were given the option of this or a fireworks display and funfair that was on and they went for the fireworks. I'm hoping to find some friends to go with and take them next year though, it was more the thought of going alone with them that didn't appeal in the end.

We went trick or treating and LO had so much fun. I'm glad we went in the end, as I had been worried she was too young for it, but she really enjoyed it

I think this thread is worth bumping as we're at that time again ..

I agree with Lardy Lady .. as her post says ..you never know what some people are likely to give your children!

I am unsure whether to go this year because of this clown thing that seems to be happening everywhere

Not heard much about it Bev but disturbing.

I'm letting my 2 go round a couple of houses tonight that have decs and pumpkins on display so are definitely Halloween friendly. I hate the thought of peeing people off.

Took the girls for the first time and they really enjoyed it. More houses than I expected had put pumpkins and decs outside to show they were Halloween friendly and they stuck to those houses without fuss.

We had a massive tub of sweets and only got 2, I think most came when we were out which was a shame really as they equally looked forward to giving too which is also good

Apparently we only had about 2 little ones call round, but then again, no one was in until around 6.20, so we think they all called before we got home!

Saw plenty out on other streets though, and quite a few adults dressed up with them too!
