a family member have one and she does love it as she can just make her soup directly in it as it warm the soup as it blend...they are in the $400 to $600 range.

but my blender cuisinart just work fine for me dont mine using a pan to warm up my soup lol

Wow that it so expensive! I only have a handheld blender that was less than £10 !

Yer for the sake of hundreds I don't mind moving over to a pan either
