I need help everyone, I am about to shop for a bathing suit and I have not done this in years. I don't think I have even gone swimming in the last six years. I have dropped a bunch of weight but I still have some wiggle room in the front area. Any suggestions would be lovely.

I am interested in hearing this advice also! My trip to the beach is not until mid-August and I have 2 bathing suits that I was able to wear last year (barely) but I can't fit into them now. All I know is I need one with underwire, but other than that, I really need help figuring out what is the best suit for my body type.

The only tips I can give you is to go try them on. Everything looks different when it's on you (not on the hanger). Are you thinking one-piece or two-piece? There are so many different styles out there. You just have to endure the pain of trying them all on.

i said go with one piece ...usually something that support your cleavage will support nicely your tummy as well !

There are so many factors, especially height. I like a suit that covers my rear, but a suit isn't going to fit both a 5 foot tall woman and a 5 foot 7 inch woman the same way. They only stretch so far. So, I'd say the most important thing is to make sure you get a proper fit for the torso if shopping for a one piece.

Wobbles
Last time I went for a swimming costume I ended up with one that did not flatter my tummy area and another it was too baggy around the butt ... I really wish I had of bought a 2 piece ... tankini style top and short style swimming bottoms (or pant style). I find I'm not portioned right all over.

I'd definitely say them on, lots of them I must have tried a good 30+ on last year! I swear by two pieces, I'm not very well balanced and had to buy bottoms a completely different size to the top last year!

I'll probably be the same this year, it's all my boobs' fault!
