Ignoring the scales?
Does anyone else here ignore the scales and go on comparison pictures/body?
Obviously the scales were a big part of my journey last year but after losing around 60lbs (fluctuating a couple of pounds either way) and upping my fitness I know that the scales for me now aren't as important. They do help when I've been naughty and set me straight but generally really that isn't what I am after now, although minus 6-10 more would be nice to see slowly over time.
I am going to try and ignore the scales, as I am now at my lowest weight since I was 15 and I honestly don't think I look as small as my weight says. If I was to lose any more weight then my weight number would probably sound way too low.
I'm going to just focus on toning up and fitness for now
I ignore scales this week) i noticed that passed week i behaived as a maniac!! I started to weigh myself few times a day(( not very healthy attitude to your weight( So this week i will compare my body every day with the help of a veeery tight shorts)

Scales can't always be trusted to give you an accurate accounting. There's always water weight and the fact that muscle weighs more than fat. I guess you could say that I take scale readings as just one part of it all.
Mostly, I go by how my clothes fit, especially my pants. When I can fit into a smaller size, that's when I really know that I have lost weight. The scales might not show a big difference but my pants start to fall down.
Since I got to my target weight I ignore them now and go by how my clothes fit.
I am the crazy lady who weighs herself almost every day, I need to try to stop doing it, but I just seem to get obsessed.
