Is anyone else finding life a bit of a struggle nowadays? It seems that I'm always short of money. Don't get me wrong, we have a roof over our heads and enough to eat, plus we have pets and the kids have toys but, lately I find that I'm having to take on extra work just to pay the bills!

Same here. Seems like a vicious cycle or working all month to get to pay day, and then about 5 days afterwards when the mortgage and utility bills have been paid it just leaves food money. I haven't been well recently so not been able to take on any overtime. Really sucks. Miss the days when we had a bit left over. Didn't have to be much, but made me feel less poor

I'm lucky enough to say that I am not feeling this right now. For once it seems like we are sitting just fine. Budgeting and watching what we spent for a few years is what put it in the position we are in right now.

It's been a struggle for me too. Everything is increasing in price but income doesn't change. I have to very carefully budget just to buy enough food each month. Eating healthier costs a lot more than one would expect.
