Almost scared to ask! How many syns in a level tbsp of golden syrup please? I have half a tin left.

I've found some maple syrup over here but it's really expensive. Does anyone know what it tastes like as I'm sure someone told me it's nothing like golden syrup? And how many syns?

Golden syrup is 2.5 Syns per tbsp.
Maple syrup is 2 Syns per tbsp, and you're right it doesn't taste like golden syrup. I'd say maple is sweeter than golden though I think.
It's amazing on American style pancakes with bacon though! Which is why I don't eat pancakes anymore... I love them too much to stop

Haha! I know - I adooooore pancakes! Tomorrow I'm trying the oat ones that are 1 x hexb for 5-6 pancakes. OK might get some maple syrup next time - I'm sure OH will eat it if I don't like it!
