The closest I can find is Co-op Loved by Us Tuna & Sweetcorn Pasta Bowl (250g pack)
4.5 Syns

Swap tuna which is syn free with chicken which is syn free and I reckon it could be about the same.

Do you have a photo of the back with the nutritional info? eg. protein and carbs etc.

That's not so bad I suppose! Umm I have this little bit on the back. I'm not sure if that'll be any use?
And thank you

If you can't get online - it's usually 1 syn per 20 calories

The pasta and chicken would be free though without sauces thoigh wouldn't they? So I would assume (probably wrobgly) that the majority of calories would come from pasta and chicken so it wouldn't be as many syns? Makes sense in my head but I have had a few wines

12 syns for the pack.

You can only count one ingredient as free when on the calculator, so as much as both the pasta and the chicken are free, you have to pick the very first ingredient on the list (pasta in this case) to use as the free food.

If you look at the list of ingredients, there are 3 types of oil, and then the chicken is mixed with both oil and sugar (probably not much, but that's where all the syns stem from) and there are nuts in there too...
It's awful because as much as we think certain pre-packed lunches are better, they end up being worse than we expect if you have to get one, pick from the lower fat range (Boots Shapers, Tesco Healthy Living, etc.) assuming the place has one. Failing that, pick a salad. The dressings are usually seperate in those, so you don't even have to use it

Surely it's not 12 syns?

SW website says Co-op Loved by Us Tuna & Sweetcorn Pasta Bowl (250g pack) is 4.5 Syns. If you compare the two as far as contents and nutritional information it's not far off

Yup... that's what I get using the calculator. The pasta is the first and main ingredient so that's the free food, so it depends what you put that in as on the calculator. If you put the pasta in as '(dried) cooked' you get 10.5 syns, but if you put it in as '(fresh) cooked' which is what I did, you get 12 syns. So at best I'd count 10.5 syns for it.

I can't find a picture online of the Tuna one to compare the ingradients, but you've got to consider the other things except the chicken and pasta. The oils (4 of them), the sugar in the pesto, the pine nuts and the 2 types of cheese. There won't be enough nuts or cheese to use these as a healthy extra, so they have to be synned.
1tbsp of pesto is 3.5 syns alone, so add everything else on it just keeps adding up. Oil is generally 2 syns per tsp, and then a couple of syns for the cheese and one or two more for the nuts.
It's bizarre when you think
