Hello all I am new to this site and just starting SW online.

I am struggling with thinking of lunch ideas for packed lunches. I like the idea of rice salads or pasta salads - can you give me ideas of what you all do.

Thank you for your help

Hello Everyone, I am new to this forum and I cant wait to be apart of this group and Meet new people. A few months ago I started a new program that helped me loose over 20 pounds in one month. I started out at 250 pounds and I feel fantastic.

Before I started I started to feel... how would one say... depressed, overwhelmed, ashamed, ugly, and impossible. I had so much feed back from so many people on how to attain my goal to get my life back and it was so over whelming. I would go to the gym and the people i would go with would tell me to work faster and harder and I was already ready to pass out. it was a joke.

Now, I have more energy and i'm happy. Just know that you can do it! I am here to help.

I always use brown rice and pasta as it is slower to release the carbs. Add any salad veg you like, or roasted vegetables are really nice, plus some reduced fat cheese or chucks of chicken or fish. Then I make dressing from a tsp of olive oil, lemon juice or balsamic vinegar, and herbs. You can ring the changes with whatever you have in the fridge.
I also like crustless quiches made with veg and ham.
Or how about a homemade houmous with veg sticks to dip in.

I ant really suggest much more than Ali has, except for the quiche, I pretty much just have salads, or pasta salads.
Another favourite of mine is a jacket potato with beans a side salad.
I've been adding mixed beans and chickpeas to my salads recently and they're really tasty
