Hi everyone

I'm Natasha and I'm 31. I have 2 kids, Logan 6 and Emmy 3. After finally being diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and three stone weight gain I joined slimming world in January. I'm getting married in June 2017 and would love to reach target by then! Due to thyroid my weight loss is very up and down, I've only lost almost 1 and a half stone since starting. I'm pushing through but can be quite disheartening when I stick 100% to plan yet can sometimes gain! Anyway I thought I would say hi and can imagine this site will be my new haunt, it's great!

1.5 stone is fantastic!! Don't be too disheartened, you've done amazing with your loss in spite of your body being awkward at times

As you've likely already seen, there are lots of threads for SW, and plenty of people who have/do follow the plan.

I think your weight loss is brilliant. Very well done. Sorry it's a struggle with your thyroid problems, but I am certain you will get to your target for your wedding. Hope we can all help Hope you have a brilliant week

Thanks so much for the support, I really appreciate that! Yeah fingers crossed I reach target, I think I should probably step up my exercise to give a boost so that's my plan. I can't wait to try some of the recipes too.

Hi Natasha I too have an underactive thyroid its a nightmare isn't it I know how hard losing any weight is so super well done on 1.5 stone that is amazing I lose some gain some going round and round. Good luck with hitting target for wedding 💒
