Eating Out With Slimming World (Restaurants + Takeaways)
Fabulous guide.
Are you aware of the syn value of a chicken shashlik? This is a type of kebab thing and in my opinion the best Indian food ever.
Shashlick is the grilled marinated meat right?
I can never remember what that's called
If I'm right, I would probably just count syns for any sauce you get with it. If I remember correctly, I think the meat is usually baked or grilled so there should be very little oil used, if any.

That's right. It is the grilled or BBQ cooked. It is fab and yes I think any syns would be in the sauce.
Thanks
Chris.
New to Social Slimmers so have just seen this list. Sarah, how many SYNS in a Dupiaza. It is my regular dish when eating in an Indian restaurant xx
Hi Jayne, looking at the SW app, it doesn't have a specific syn value for dupiaza, but they range between 7 and 11.5.
Personally I'd count 10 to be safe

Thanks Sarah. I did count 10 and I also asked for no ghee which the restaurant did for me. Bit nervous in asking but no problem. Mind you we have been using that particular restaurant for a long long time so we are known there.
Most places are usually quite happy to cook without the ghee.
Some places have even started doing a 'healthy option' on their menu. My local Indian Restaraunt has done it for years

Great feature. Was thinking, could you add the café Eat? Was in there today and some of the foods sound quite healthy and SW friendly.
I'll look tonight to see if they are listed on the SW website

Do you know the syn value for a mushroom bhaji and a saag (spinach) bhaji please. I can't find it anywhere
