Is homemade popcorn free?

I don't believe it is.

On the SW website it says

"Popcorn air-popped, all varieties (25g) 5 syns"

But if you don't add anything to it? I always thought they were fat free. Will ask at Thursday's meeting

I'm afraid not, even if you don't add anything to it. I think it's because it's too easy to over consume.

I would think you get less pieces of popcorn when covered with toffee per gram. But I will raise the question at meeting.

Technicallly you get less pieces of popcorn per 25g if you go for toffee, but you've got to bear in mind that it's coated in toffee/sugar, which adds the weight. If you counted how many pieces of salted popcorn you got for 25g, and then counted out the same amount of pieces in the toffee, the toffee could weigh up to 50g, which therefore would be more syns.

I don't know if this is making sense, but it does in my head lol
