Thanks for the warm welcome, ladies.

I still can't quite believe how much I've lost in a year (in fact it is 1 year to the day that I started SW - 8th July 2014).

I've actually found it quite easy - as long as I'm planned and prepared, then I'm good to go. I've just been so determined, that I haven't ever really gone too far off plan. I have had the odd treats, but these have either been synned, or not too naughty, or if they have been bad, I just try to be extra good the rest of the time to do some damage limitation.

I also always stay to 'Image Therapy' at my group each week, and I think this has really helped me stay focused.

Mischa - that sounds like you're making a cracking start....well done, you!

That's really fantastic Looby to have lost that in a year.

Well I'm a little bit closer to moving to the next group. I've lost 2.5lbs this week. So chuffed! Another week like that and I'll be into the twelves!

Looby, it's amazing that you have lost 7 stone! (I think. My maths isn't very good!)

Do you find that you have to adjust what you're eating as you get closer to your goal weight?

I do find that the 'Image Therapy' does help. It's more motivating to hear about people who are doing well, or who have gained weight, but go back to losing again.

It's 6st 9lb at the moment.

I have had to cut my syns to about 10 a day now....although if I do go over that occasionally, it's not the end of the world.

I've also started to eat less potatoes, pasta, rice or bread. Nothing too drastic though xx

Looby, that sounds like what I'm doing. I started having about 10 syns a day and began portion controlling startchy food and it worked wonders this week. Just lost 6lbs

Well so much for the losing another 2.5lbs this week. Had a really rubbish week and put on 0.75lbs. Back to it now. I've given myself a shake so onwards and downwards.

Hi guys. Just joined this evening. Do you mind if I join this thread. I'm 13st 9 and am aiming for 12st 7 by November and 10st more long term but I could do with the support to get me going again! X
