OK... I have heard a rumour.... there is such a thing as syn free crisps?

Thinly cut potatoes, sprinkled with salt and oven baked till crisp or cooked in the microwave?

This this real? I have heard on some sites that they aren't counted as free because they are a snack??

Does anyone know more?!!!!!

Technically they aren't syn free - it's what they call a tweak.Still better for you than fried crisps I suppose.

They are 'free' but yes, as huntress has said, they are a 'tweak' probably because they are easy to over consume - although if your alternative would be a packet of crisps surely they are much better for you
My consultant recently said SW have advised to syn 'tweak' foods as you would the real thing
