Purple, don't undersell yourself. Even if people don't stop, they can still get Slimmer of the Week/Month so you beat everyone who turned up to your group and go weighed tonight so be proud of that!

Well done, folks, on your losses.

I lost 1lb this week, which, after a weekend away, I was very pleased with.

Matt...sorry to hear about your gain. Gutting, isn't it, when you can't see the reason for a gain? We've all been there...just draw a line, and really focus this week, so you don't let this little 'blip' affect your loss this coming week. That pound and a half will soon be gone.

Thanks SpoonyMoose - I didn't realise that, thought it was just who stayed. Long may the losses be at this amount. I can't quite believe it to be honest, 11lb hasn't sunk in yet.

Looby well done! inspirational weight losses so many of you I love the fact that real people are doing this and losing numbers we all see as being unobtainable when we start out.

Purple, I still can't believe the amount I've lost since January. You sorta start and the realise you're picking up your 3 stone award and wonder how and where the time went. Just make sure you keep a pair of your old jeans as then you can see how much you've lost when you're struggling to see as every half a stone is closer to what you want to be.

so good to hear, really want to get this sorted. I've been so unhappy.

I will keep jeans for sure, and a blouse I'm wearing tonight as I loved it when I bought it even though I knew it was a size 22, but a picture of me was the trigger to my signing up with SW as I couldn't believe how big I was.

Thanks for all the kind words guys (and good luck AliCat, hope you're more positive than me). It's just come as a complete shocker, doing almost the exact same one week and losing 3lbs, and the next gaining 1.5lbs.

Nothing I can do now except just be committed to sticking to plan this week and hoping it pays off. It's the waiting I hate, feel like I'm going to have to wait 2 weeks just to feel "safe" on plan again :/

You will get this sorted. at Christmas I was wearing a size 18 dress which pulled and I felt so uncomfortable that night, especially around all the other women. I was even wearing a cardigan to try and hide myself. In contrast to this, I went out on a night out a couple of weeks ago with work wearing a size 12 which fitted perfectly and was sleeveless, something I'd never thought I'd do. A it is doable, it's just taking first step of admitting it, which you have.

Matt - you can do this, just don't let the mental game of it get to you - that is the hardest part. you've done so well you can get this back on track for sure.

Spoony - how wonderful! I've never been a size 12 as an adult, I got down to a 14/16 I was powerlifting at the time, it was my lowest weight and it all went upwards from there. I have a load of clothes that I'd love to get back into, I have some knee length jeans I love that I'd love to be in for next summer. It's been gutting this year as my winter coat got tight and all of my clothes were too small.

I've got a couple of rock n' roll dresses I bought over the winter for dances we went to, can't wait to have to sell them because they're too big! lol

I can appreciate the feeling of being bigger at social events too, that has been me so many times and am looking forward to changing that. Just really need to work on keeping myself stable at the other end of the journey. I do think SW has the potential to do that seeing people in my class etc.

It's surprising what you can do with SW. Thus time next year you'll be a different person I was probably last a 12 when I was 15 ish and I'm now 28. I'm sure you'll get to the size/weight you want as you seem determined.

I love the rock n roll dresses; you'll have a fab excuse to buy new ones!

I think the maintaining part is always going to be tricky; I'm not sure how I'll manage it. I think by that point your brain is so used to eating a certain way that introducing another hexa is going to be tricky. We're here to support though, both as we continue our journey and once we get there
