I have just found this recipe and love it! but don't have enough time in a morning before work to bake them, would these be OK in the morning if I make them the night before?

I've been wondering the same thing to be honest, I quite fancy trying it but haven't had chance to make it (or been brave enough - not a fan of eggs at all so I don't know how eggy it tastes!)

Hi there,

I love baked oats and have them at least 3 times a week. It doesn't taste eggy at all.

I have made the day before if I have an early start the next day and then just blasted it in the microwave to warm it up again.

I love baked oats, always have them for breakfast on a Saturday and then my own recipe for cheesy baked oats on a Sunday. Will pass along the recipe if you'd like to try the savoury option (still not eggy-tasting).

was wondering if you could make this using grated carrot and mixed spice or something like that to make a sort of carrot cake style one.

Funnily enough, fatkerry.blogspot.com has a recipe. She makes hers into waffles using a silicone mould but you could easily just do it the same way you do baked oats.
