Syn free for those on Slimming World, but is great tasting food for anyone regardless of diet
I believe this is Syn free on Extra Easy and Original (unless someone can tell me otherwise)
This is how to make Syn free Slimming World kebab greek style / donner kabab recipe.
Ingredients
500g/1lb lamb lean mince
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried Thyme
1/2 teaspoon onion powder (or 1 small finely chopped Onion)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 teaspoon minced/crushed Garlic)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon plain flour - Optional (but will help it not to dry out)
Directions
Put everything in a large bowl and knead, mix, squish, mash and generally use the mixture as stress ball until everything smooth and has no air pockets.
Optional: Put it in a food processor and blend
Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place on a fine wire rack
Important: Put the wire rack on a baking tray (deep enough to catch any fat).
Put a pre-heated oven for 1 hour:
Fan assisted: 180C/350F/Gas Mark 4
Normal: 170C/325F/Gas Mark 3
Keep an eye on the baking tray (if you've used a shallow one) to make sure fat doesn't overflow.
Once cooked, carve/shave (like you'd get from the kabab shop) and serve in a pitta bread (HEB or 4 Syns) with salad.

This sounds delicious no matter what diet plan you are following. I love lamb and it is really hard to find lamb recipes on diet programs.

Nice! I'm currently going through the recipe forum to find ideas. Especially for days when I'm craving. This would go down nice with some of those syn free slimming world chips
Shame I can't load it with mayo and ketchup.
