Here's my favorite snack

I eat this at least five times per week. It is fairly healthy and reality helps bridge the gap between meals. It is also very simple.

I use a spoon to mash up a banana in a bowl. I pour half a cup of agave onto the banana. I then take two spoon fulls of peanut butter and stir it into the banana and agave until it all meshes together.

Yum!

I admit that sounds tasty, but it does seem like it would be a lot of calories though. Are you talking about agave nectar? That stuff is almost as sweet as maple syrup.

Ooo that sounds really nice! Although I've got to agree, it must be so sweet!

I'm a fan of both peanut butter and bananas. I've just never thought of combining the two at all. I've never tasted agave syrup, but if it's as sweet as maple syrup then count me in. I have a really sweet tooth. The dilemma is how to burn off all the calories after taking such a snack!

Haven't you ever heard about Elvis and his fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches? My grandmother made those for us when we were little. Good but packed with fat and calories.

Yummy! I would like the bananas and peanut butter but I think the agave nectar would make it too sweet for me!

I'm not sure if it is agave nectar. It just says agave on the bottle. It isn't as sweet as maple syrup though. I just add it to the bananas and peanut butter in order to moisten the snack even more than it already is. I feel like the bananas an peanut butter are too bulky without the addition of the agave. I guess I should buy the smooth peanut butter instead of the chunky .

You know, that would be really nice frozen too! Vegan ice cream!

I seen a suggestion for banana and peanut butter frozen somewhere. Every now and then I wouldn't say its so bad (don't know about sauce though) x

I think you are correct about the agave. It wouldn't freeze well. I bet it would just harden and possibly separate from the other ingredients. I never thought of freezing this concoction. Maybe I should try that as I don't eat ice cream because I am a vegan. This would make a nice substitute.
