Back on the shakes

So I'm back on the shakes for a couple of weeks, only for breakfast and lunch then a normal dinner for the evening.

I need a shake up literally In the past when I have done the shakes for a short period and not gone by the no carbs rule most shakes advise with their diets it's worked without piling it back on.

Does anyone else add shakes to their diets without being 100% on it all the time?

I like (LOVE) milkshakes but I don't think I could force a "shake" past my lips. I tried a couple ages ago. I think one was a premixed slimfast bottle which wasn't too bad, but had a weird after taste and gave me gas big time! At some point I ended up with a whole tin of chocolate slimfast and that tasted nothing like the premixed YUCK! The tin went in the bin

Oh slimfast leaves a YUK in your mouth for a few hours it's not nice I like the celebrity slim active which is only intended for for 2 weeks max anyway

I can't do shakes, I think it's the high milk content that doesn't agree although I managed a couple of days of Tony fergusson shakes once, can't remember if they were mixed with milk though it was that long ago!

What shakes do you drink? I used to drink Slimfast shakes, but I never stuck to it. I would drink a shake maybe once every two days or once every other day. My doctor also put me on these other shakes when I wasn't getting enough protein. I would drink them in place of some meals. Some are good, some are bleh...

I have tried Slimfast in the past (hey, that rhymes!) but I didn't stick with it because it always left me feeling hungry during the day, and then I'd wind up eating WAAAAY too much at night. If I could find a healthy shake that was actually filling in the same way that "real" food is, I'd be all over it!
