I picked up two of these to try out today while I was at the store and I was just curious about their calorie counts. The pack I have which is chicken and broccoli in a (what looks like) nice sauce is about 330 calories. Is this average for most of their dinners?

You had me curious so I did a little investigating and found this site that has all the Atkins products listed with the nutritional content. They've even assigned each one a grade. I looked at a few of the meals at random and they were also in the 300 calorie range.

I also did a little bit of research, and it seems like a lot of their meals are close to 300 calories. I've noticed frozen meals from the same brand usually have around the same calorie count for all their meals.

Three hundred calories for lunch or dinner isn't bad, though, especially when other stats (like carb and sugar) are reasonable. You could have five or six 300 calorie meals a day and still only be at 1500 or 1800 calories. Are they filling?

I picked up a few frozen ones to try out. The one I had this past weekend was fairly okay, it did taste better than I expected. I am going to try and have a different one for lunch to see how it goes.

I've never seen the atkins foods in the UK but looking online they are introducing the snack bars and shakes in some supermarkets. Must be similar to weight watcher meals though.

I have seen the bars for this product at my local store near the supplemental nutrition section, but I have never seen the frozen meals. I have to agree that you could definitely get away with eating around 5 of these a day as long as everything else is kept in check. I wonder how filling they are though. Sometimes these frozen meals just don't do it for me.

They aren't too satisfying, but they do the job if you need help with portion control. Otherwise, I tend to stay away from prepackaged foods if I can help it because of all the additives. I'd say they aren't bad if you need something quick to take to work for lunch.
