Feeling a mixture of nervous and excited! I've not been to the gym since before I had kids - the big one's almost 6!! I've been so busy recently that eating healthily has slacked and I've not been able to get out running, so I took the plunge today!

Our local fit4less had a special offer on which is no joining fee and only £19.99p/m with no contract! So ATM I'm aiming to go just through summer, but hoping to carry on after too!

It'll give me a break from the kids during the summer holidays and hopefully get me a semi-decent bikini body for my holiday in the last week of august! I can get somewhere in 8 weeks can't I?!

Yay, that's great! And what a good offer too
Joining the gym helped me so much with motivation and fitness. I often have to drag myself there but I love it once I'm there.
You can definitely make a difference in 8 weeks!

I'm sure I'll have to drag myself there but it needs doing! Not entirely sure how I'll find time, but I'll make time!

I need it for my mental health too, I've started getting really anxious again and have had a few mini panic attacks the past few days too

So sorry that you are struggling with anxiety and having panic attacks The gym can really help alleviate anxiety I've found. I suffer with anxiety too and I always feel a nice sense of calmness after a good workout. It's really good for mental well being. Hope you're feeling better soon

I suffer severe anxiety Hun and I can't word how much positivity it has given me. I have 'edgy' days but it doesn't last for long.

Well done you for taking the step xx

I've come so far anxiety wise in the last few years, in the past even leaving the house was a massive ordeal and I'd been "fine" for a while up until the last few weeks.

Went for my induction tonight and did my new routine after, my god I was knackered! I can't remember the last time I sweated so much and my arms are properly aching!

My goals are to improve CV fitness, tone core/abs and arms and to be able to do a push up! I think the guy was shocked at how weak my arms are think I'm really going to enjoy myself!
