So weird I thought of this on the weekend. Would sparkling water be any different from mineral water? Is it just as good for you? Should you avoid it like any other fizzy drink?

Hmmmmm

I think it will be the same as mineral water, as there is nothing added, no sugars, sweetners, colours etc........I cant stand it though, tastes strange lol x

I think the only thing it has added to it is the fizz, so it shouldn't be much different! Although it's likely to make you really bloated cos of all the bubbles!

Years ago we ran filters on all of the taps, we also tried the filtered pitcher approach and both only lasted for a short time. When we remodeled our home we ended up buying a new fridge and spent a little more to have the filtered water come off the fridge. I swear it tastes just as good as true spring water from the mountains.

I would imagine some mineral waters have a slightly salt content which could make you retain water? Just guessing though

Out of interest, Tonic water has sugar in it, right?

I'd love a fridge with filtered water coming out! I think my OHs going to die a little inside when we eventually buy our own house with the huge list of things I want

I think the sparkling one is pretty much the same but with bubbles. I prefer the mineral water but when dieting I like the sparkling water with meals as it makes me feel really full because of the bubbles!
