I started with Slimming World. It was a great kick start ... I then went to calorie counting now I eat clean/whole most times.
Its an individual choice really and depends on goals, do them goals include exercise for example?

I started on Slimming World. It's very easy and doesn't leave you hungry. I've since moved on to eating clean/wholefoods, which I prefer but is probably best for maintaining rather than weight loss.

Hi Kelly, am just starting on the 4 hour body, fat loss routine. Is a great book by Timothy Ferris who is an expert at learning and condensing subjects where there is a large amount of information. His theory is with most bodies of knowledge there is often a core set of things that really work and have measurable success. Weight loss is no different.
Most meals are simple protein + beans + veg , no "white carb's". Have 1 cheat day per week where there are no restrictions. Exercise with kettle bell a maximum of 2/3 times per week to gain lean muscle mass. The advertised results seem spectacular am going to see if they work for me. The book is highly worth a read. All the other diets I have tried I have regained all the weight lost over time as my body flip flops from starve to binge. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Hi Kelly, welcome
Personally I follow Slimming World - as AliCat said, it's pretty simple to follow and you aren't left feeling hungry.
Have you managed to find a plan that suits you?

I am doing Slimming World. I seldom feel hungry. I love my food so need a plan where I can eat good portions. So far it seems to be working, slowly but surely.
