I understand that while they probably are full of chemicals, I am completely addicted to eating Cup o Soups throughout my day. I like the full feeling that soup gives me and they are super low cal. Now I just have to watch that I don't rely on them too much for any nutrition!

I love cuppa soups too! I think it's all the monosodium glutamate and salt that makes them quite addictive

Those have been around for decades! I like the chicken kind. They used to have a tomato one but it was pretty horrid.

Instant soup makes for a quick lunch on the go but like you've said, Katie, you can't really depend on them for nutrition. And like Bevzii has said, they have a lot of MSG. I think they are okay as long as you don't eat them every single day.

I think I found some MSG free ones on Amazon before. I forget what they are called. They were Korean soups if I remember correctly. Make sure to supplement with something really good. There isn't much nutrition in those soups at all.

Wow, I haven't had Cup A Soup in ages! I remember eating those things when I was single and working long hours. I'd have one for dinner or pack one for my lunch. They were filling.

I used to love those things! But the amount of sodium--yikes! When I realized I was consuming 2/3rds of my daily allotment for sodium with a single cup of ramen, I decided they could only be a rare treat. Definitely don't eat them every day--and don't drink the broth!

I have never had one of those. I used to eat Ramen noodles when I was in college. They are so bad for you though. Does that soup have a lot of salt? You should really watch that!

I do like these now and then especially in winter, it's just a quick an easy when lasy and not much time for much else.

You could always buy some cheap tubs and make upi your own on the stove or in the slow cooker an portion them out

Yeah I used to enjoy cup-a-soups as a quick easy snack especially on my fasting days, I used to have a chicken & leek one for something like 54 calories! Although I suppose it's healthier to make up your own and just freeze it - would be just as easy to heat up in the microwave!

Just a bit of stock and flavouring. Can't go wrong with that
