Does the media affect your diet?

I find that sometimes, depending on my mood, I will see the latest magazine or a blurb on TV about a celebrity and their "new" diet and it affects me strongly. Other times I am fairly logical about the fact that "Hollywood" is a business and most of these women have it tough and can't ever measure up to the unreal standards of beauty that we see these days. Do you ever get frustrated or motivated when you see the media's portrayal of actresses and their "diets"?

I think that the majority of celeb diets seem to be dad diets so I just tend to ignore them.

I'm usually really level headed about it, but have to admit I'm currently looking at doing a detox purely because I've seen someone off the TVs doing it I'm well aware he's probably been sent it for free on the proviso he promotes it, but still!

To be honest, I'm usually really level headed about it too, but sometimes it bothers me sooooo much. I think it might, just might have to do with where I am in my cycle (hate to say it...). Sometimes I get angry with the industry for setting such horrible and unhealthy standards and sometimes I can just blow it off...
