Congratulations on the five pound loss! What is the plan about? You have two days per week where you severely limit your calories?

Maybe I better look into the details of this diet if you've gotten those kind of results! I'm not usually into diets that restrict calories that much because it lowers my metabolism but if it's only two days a week, that sounds reasonable.

Jeans it is more a way of living as those 2 days a week where you basically "fast " suppose to be good for your body on the other days i usually have about 1800 cals so i can lose the weight i need once i want to maintain my weight i will be doing more a 2000 cals those days .
i fast monday and Thursday as monday is easy to do after a big week end and Thursday get me ready for the week end .
Mentally my first day fast was really hard i must said ...i thought the following day when i was going to wake up i was going to eat everything in hands but that was not the case . Alos i feel less bloated in general as well now .

If you exercise ( i do ) make sense to not exercice those fast day as well .

So you fast which means you eat nothing for two days a week? I've never heard of this diet before. I don't think it would work for me. I like to eat and I like to exercise. I just limit my calories each day. Congrats on the 5 pound weight loss.

you can eat up to 500 to 600 cals the days you fast ...fasting have some benefits to clean your inside for your body as well specially if you decide on those fast days to not drink cafeine etc...

i usually have 100 up 150 cals for breakfast

lunch is about 2oo

and i keep most of my cals ( 300 about ) for dinner as we like to always to sit down with the kids for dinner .

Thank you for answering my questions.

I think I could handle the two low-cal days. (I won't call them "fasting" since there is eating involved.) I'm not real big on breakfast so I could do about 250 calories for lunch and save 350 for dinner. That could be a very large meal if it's all salad and vegetables.

This bears looking into. Thanks!

I don't think that it is a good idea to severely limit your calorie intake that way. I would equate it to putting $5 in your gas tank and trying to drive 100 miles on it. You will run out of fuel before you get to your destination. I would rather just eat 1500 calories every day, than to eat 1800 5 days a week and 600 2 days a week.

That is great for you! I could never do the fasting diets as I am hungry too often. But, I'm glad it works for you.

On another note, if you want to clean out your insides, take a fairly large dose of vitamin C. Make sure you don't leave the house! 5000mg seems to do the trick. Gas, bloating, and eventually...you'll be sitting!
