Planning ahead to avoid pitfalls

I tend to plan ahead, even with snacks, so I don't fall into the common pitfalls of eating whatever I can find. I pack or plan healthy snacks and lunches on work days. I keep a weekly menu to keep myself on track. Does anyone else do this?

Yes, I buy healthy snacks with my weekly shopping and ingredients for homemade dip with raw veg then try and avoid buying the kids snacks I like. I work from home luckily so I am in full control and have no excuses really

Planning ahead keeps me in line. If I don't plan, I get off track very, very quickly. I tend to prep veggies and fruits for snacks right after I get home from the store. If they're easily available and freshly prepped, it gives me an imperative to eat them. Plus, they're ready to go for lunches. That's one trick I've found that helps me.

I don't plan ahead as much as I should do but it is something I'm going to start doing soon to keep me on track and help me be more organised
