Dieting & Gaining

Sometimes it seems like a bummer to gain when you are dieting but right now I have a very strong feeling that what I have gained is straight muscle. Not sure how to describe it really, my clothes fit fine and some are even loose. I just feel heavier in a bulky sort of way even though nothing is showing.

Do you work-out? If you work-out, it could very well be muscle. If you weren't gaining anything while dieting until recently, it is probably muscle, especially if nothing about your diet has changed.

I think this happens naturally because once you stop feeding your body junk, it can use what you give it to build muscle. Don't worry, that's what it's designed to do! Things will even out once you get on a routine long enough.

I am sure it is just muscle weight. I know how frustrating it is though when you're expecting to lose the weight.

I wish I could figure out how to measure it, trying to look around me does not work that great without a three-way mirror. Right now I am working on the Stronger videos but depending on the weather I might start mountain biking again.

I just ordered some cold weather clothes but they won't be here for a few more weeks. Maybe I will get lucky and it will just get warmer. Since I started tracking on the 31st of Jan. I have gained two pounds. I do the videos 6 days a week but I took a practice (first week) with a single video (Ignition) as a warm up so by the challenge schedule I am on week four now.
