Green Veggies
I think everyone knows how good green veggies are for you, but they just don't taste that good. What can I do to make them taste better without also making them less healthy?

There was a thing on tv the other day about how it's genetic whether we like sprouts, which I'm guessing applies to all green veg! Apparently they taste more bitter to some people!
It sounds weird, but have you tried roasting them? The flavour is totally different! I'm a big green veg fan though, I was telling the kids yesterday how I used to have everyone's sprouts at school Xmas dinner I still love them now!

No, I've never tried roasting them before. Usually I just steam them, but they don't taste good (to me) like that unless they are then drowned in butter, ha! Should I roast them in the oven? On how high of a heat? For how long? Thank you!!

They go a bit sweeter in the oven, I tend to put them in at about 200c and just roast until they look done! I sautéed some sprouts last night and they went really sweet too! It's just a case of experimenting to find what works for you really!

I roast a lot of my veggies. They do have a different taste. I also grill a lot of veggies. I love green veggies though. I can steam them and eat a whole bag!

Roasting is very good yes! I am gonna suggest one thing that has helped me in many dishes. Ready? It's called " Lemon Pepper". It doesn't matter which brand you get, just pick one that you like. I used to buy a brand at the dollar store that was fantastic. I put it on everything from baked potatoes, to green beans, and asparagus to salads. Enjoy!

I love roasted vegetables You could also try experimenting with different herbs or spices on them. Oregano is quite nice

I love steaming them more than anything else, the kids agree with me on this as well. Trying to get them to eat anything raw is like pulling teeth and I am exactly the same way.
