You can do healthy tomato based pasta dishes. I usually use, an onion dry fried (using water to stop it catching, a couple of garlic cloves, add in a tin of chopped tomatoes, tbsp tomato puree, some basil, and black pepper, I let it cook for about 10 mins. I often then blitz it with a hand blender and pop it in a jar so I have some to hand. I think it lasts about a week in the fridge - but I don't think ours has ever lasted that long usually gets eaten
I add sliced chillis for a spicy sauce, or meditteranean vegetables I have roasted in the oven for a more filling sauce. Some lean ham cut into pieces is nice too. I still also make bolognese as it is ok on SW.
