I have tried both now and I don't like either. I do not know if it is just because I love burger but I don't like either. I know both are a lot better for me. If I stick with 90% burger I don't feel so guilty. Anyone like ground turkey or chicken?

Only in certain things. If there's enough spice or flavor from other things--onion, chilies, fresh herbs, etc--I don't notice as much.

I make a Mediterranean chili that I actually prefer with ground turkey. I have yet to try it in anything else.

I like it but I much prefer beef over ground turkey or chicken though

I'm not sure about ground chicken, but ground turkey isn't really any healthier than ground beef -- at least, not the ground stuff you can buy around here. I'll eat ground chicken in spaghetti but that's about it. Otherwise, I want beef or sausage.

We had a great Butterball turkey this year for Thanksgiving and now we are going to use turkey for our Lasagna. This ground turkey we had was very good though. I don't know what brand it was, I'll have to look into it.

I'm glad I am not the only one that doesn't like ground turkey/chicken over beef. I tried to make burgers once with the ground turkey. I couldn't even stomach it. The smell was horrible too. I will have to try it in my spaghetti.

The smell is a bit...ehh. I had a hard time adjusting to it, too. Avocado, if you ever find out what brand it was that you had, post it here! I've got to start cutting back on red meats myself.
