Looking for grape ideas

I bought way too many grapes! I have eaten them plain the last couple days but what else can I do with these things? I've thought about adding them to a smoothie but I need something different. Has anyone actually cooked with them in a stir fry or anything?

I love adding grapes to salads. They go very, very well with chicken salad, too. There are a number of recipes out there that use sliced grapes for different kinds of chicken salads. I can't eat it without grapes!

I think the problem with cooking grapes would be the skin. Like a tomato, the skin would shrivel and come off in the process. You could throw some in a pot and cook them down and then strain out the skins and use it as a base for a sweet and sour sauce or something of that nature. That sounds pretty good!

Apparently if you freeze them they are hard on the outside and soft on the inside. A bit like an ice lolly

That is a good idea, Bevziibubble. I was just reading somewhere that you can use frozen grapes in drinks instead of ice cubes so your drink cools without watering it down. People do that with wine. It should work for ice tea too, right.

That batch of grapes I had is gone now. I ended up bringing some over to a friend to share before they went bad. I had thought about throwing them into a smoothie or making juice but I am not really supposed to eat too much fruit all at once because of my blood sugar. The grocery store had the grapes in prebagged packages and there were just too many!

It's so delicious when you add grapes to salads. I always do that especially when ders an occasion.
