Salad toppings

I've been on a major salad kick recently, but I'm running out of ways to dress up my salad in healthy ways. Pecans, pine nuts, and croutons can only go so far. What are some of your favorites?
What are pine nuts? Croutons aren't really healthy are they? I load mine up with veggies, sunflower seeds and hard boiled eggs. I think the easiest way to change it up is to switch up the dressing.
Sometimes I like to add chickpeas, almonds, or water chestnuts for a little bit of crunch. I'll change up the kind of vegetables that I add too. Once in awhile I will add sliced radish and green onions and sometimes I go with cucumbers and carrots. Lots of variety.
We use a few green peas on our salad as well as slivered almonds and alfalfa sprouts. Sometimes we even sprinkle a little cooked, crumbled ground turkey. Have you ever tried sliced avocados on your salad? They're good too.

Oooh, good suggestions all around! I forgot about alfalfa sprouts. Bean sprouts could probably do very well, too. I'm feeling a bit inspired to make an Asian salad now. Thank you for the ideas!

I'm boring when it comes to salads. I think the most adventurous I am with toppings is sunflower and pumpkin seeds, maybe a few croutons
I like chickpeas, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and crushed walnuts
I like those packs of nuts and seeds with spices on top of salads, they just add another texture! Can't remember the last time I had a salad mind
I have some spiced pumpkin and sunflower seeds and we also buy the sprinkled onions... moderation

I recently discovered the magic of lemon pepper. Fat free ranch, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, radish, carrots, and shredded cabbage taste AMAZING with a little lemon pepper grated on top!
Another good combination is broccoli slaw and orange ginger dressing. This salad kick hasn't been too bad!
