I would say there's nothing wrong with working out 5 days a week, but don't work out everyday of the week as your body needs time to recover.

As for losing weight, I would suggest eating healthily, including lots of fruit & veg, proteins, and carbs [in moderation] (but they are ideal prior to your workout as I found out last night) and cooking meals from scratch rather than microwaveable meals to reduce the amount of sugars, fats, etc. that you may want to avoid if you are looking to lose weight.

There are lots of different weight loss plans on this site, so have a read through the other threads to figure out which would best suit you.

Working out 5 days a week sounds fine as long as you're not putting too much pressure on yourself and are giving yourself ample chance to rest and recover

15-30 minutes a day is fine. As long as you eat healthy.

Just do cardio exercises for 30-45 minutes for 3-5 days a week.
