I don't but walk up 50 Miles a week. It's great in New York City. There's just so much to see walking in public. It's a lot of fun . Happy Trails! [emoji148]

I do alot of walking here, i live in the country and don't drive so walk everywhere, also I have a nut job of a dog who gets walked 3x a day!!!

I just need to increase my walking to a gentle run etc, and would love to be able to do it in the evening when the kids are in bed.

Your half way there. But never b walk less then an hour if you can help it. Keeping the heart rate up is important too. Have fun with fido!

1 misconseption about exercise. Running or walking the same distance burns about the same calories. (Apx. 100 cal a mile) I consistently hold about 4mph. Thats a for hours on end. Keep your heart rate up & don't worry about running. I hate running! It beats the hell out of your joints 2! Reach your goals! 😉

You can't beat running, completely different from walking. It releases feel good chemical, boosts so much about you in many ways... I'm proof of that and I believe haha!

I have a TM, I love the TM and I have not made good use of it but that is down to being off track generally. I now am setup but back room needs sorted with lighting and I will use it more as well as running outdoors. Advantages to both imo!

I have Reebok ZR10 after reading reviews.

Friend on my FB has the ZR9 and rates it very well!

As long as you use it and running the TM is more convenient than running outdoors then I personally would say yes it's worth it.

I walk about 50 or 60 miles a week in NYC. Once I took the train 10 miles out & then ran back. Hated every second of it. No steady pumping & pushing it. After I took a shower, went to Manhattan, & pumped out a 3 hour 12 mile walk. Then I smiled. Key to anyone. We're keeping fit the way we like to! Stay healthy.

It's definitely down to the individual that's just my individual preference

I love challenging myself when running alone. I get bored walking, I'm not a take the scenery in kinda girl, not for long any way. I have to keep busy, my heads always going 100mph

Did you run over here in the NYC Marathon? I live 4 miles from the VZ bridge on SI.
