Ab exercises
What kind of exercises do you do while you are dieting to tone up your stomach muscles?
Right now, I am just doing crunches, but am wondering if I should be doing more.

Roll up jumps are good, seated paddles are good too. There are a few news ones that I have gotten into since starting the videos I am doing but I am not sure of all of their names. You can do reverse crunches too (easier on the back).

I stopped doing crunches and those things because I realized that my abs are pretty good. Plus, those exercises will only make them bulge more and your waste will get bigger.

Russian twists with a handheld weight are quite good for toning abs.
And my abs hurt when I've used the rowing machine at the gym, so I guess that's good for abs too!

Do intervals and eat clean if you want to "tone up"...
Crunches will only help you build up some muscle, underneath your belly fat.

There wasn't a certain exercise that worked for me, all of the different abs crunches, side crunches, and so on worked on toning my muscle, but you can't get a totally flat stomach unless you eat healthfully. Such as no refined sugars, whitened breads, pasta, rice, cereal products. Eating tons of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins products is the best way to go.

Planks to start with, then add in side planks.
After a while, hanging knee/leg raises are good Crunches are not so useful in reality.
And as the old saying goes ' a six pack is built in the kitchen, not in the gym' :-)

General dieting will help your abs. Exercise is great but dieting is better (healthy eating). Planks are a great exercise to tone your "core". I do planks every day. You can do them on the floor or against the wall.
