I refer to this often and have it bookmarked on my computer. It is one of the best and easiest explanations to the Paleo Diet that I have come across so far. Plus, it's entertaining.

That's a terrific site. I sent the link to my cousin. She's been interested in learning more about the paleo diet and I tried to explain it to her. I tried going paleo for several months and was doing really well with it but it just became too expensive with the way meat prices are right now.

Wow, this is really great, thanks for posting it! I have seen bits and pieces about it online, but nothing that has explained it this well. And you were right, it was entertaining, which of course makes it easier to read! Thanks again!

You're welcome, KatieMac. I'm glad you like it.

What you said is true. When it comes to many diets, we have to search all over to find bits and pieces of information to understand the reasoning behind it. It's nice when it is put together in one place.

Thank you for posting this! Just had a read through and it's so interesting and informative. I follow a loose version of the paleo diet but have trouble avoiding bread at times and probably eat too much rice!

I don't know about you folks, but I have not really been that thrilled with beef and pork in the grocery stores so I really don't feel like buying it anymore. Chicken, fish, and turkey are definitely good though.

I will agree with you Avocado; we have lucked out and found a really great butcher shop on the other side of town. It took us some time digging around to find him, but he is fantastic and totally worth the drive. I love my red meat, so he's a blessing!!

I've been doing Paleo/Primal since Apr 2012 and once you ditch the 'forbidden' foods it is easy to do.
I do make a cake or bars once a month with almond meal/flour.I know cavemen didn't bake but you have to have a treat now and again.

Just wish I had more time to try some Primal recipes instead of just a through together in a pan or in the oven.
