I was watching a video on Youtube the other day but some girl (I think British) who was talking about Jennie Marbles gaining weight because she went back on the carbs. Can you really live without carbs? I heard it is the quickest way to get results.

To live completely without any carbs you would have to eat nothing but meats and fat. We'd lose weight, yes, but it wouldn't be healthy because we won't get any of the vitamins we need. The key is to stay with carbs that have a lower glycemic index.

I don't know if we could live without them - I know I couldn't. I am a carb fan! I will never join any diet program or try any diet that completely cuts carbs from my diet. It might be able to stick with it for 1 day so why bother.

I don't think anyone could live without them, they would have to eat pretty much animal products the whole time, and no fruit or vegetables.

I love carbs, so I have avoided low-carb diets like Atkins. I just can't see myself sticking to the plan for very long. Since I've started counting calories, though, I've noticed that I eat fewer carbs like bread just because they tend to be more caloric, so at least my diet is better balanced.
